“A fellow Nazarene Pastor and I were visiting about prayer and Revival. Like most churches in our present circumstances in
America, we needed renewal, encouragement and especially the move of the Spirit.

We chose to have a combined Revival that would last Sunday through Sunday, between our two churches. My congregation
would have the five services Sunday through Wednesday and Pastor Chad’s congregation would have the services Thursday
through Sunday.

In a time when churches have no Revivals or shorter Revivals we felt this would give opportunity for God to work; and for the
people to enjoy His presence! Our theme became:
“ANTICIPATION”, expecting a move of God.
Pastor Chad and I began one month prior to Revival, teaching on this theme. When Evangelist Norman Moore got to town
we were already in a state of Revival! We felt Dr. Moore met our needs by calling us to take a step forward. The Holiness theme
was so refreshing I felt the messages got stronger each night! The encouragement to the Pastors’ families was worth it all!
When the Pastor is renewed the flock will benefit! Thank you, Dr. Moore, for your encouragement to me!”

“Last month we held combined Revival services with our sister church, Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Although
Dr. Moore had preached at Martin’s Chapel before, it was our first time having him at Henderson.
God used Dr. Moore in a wonderful way during our time together. To put it briefly, hearts were healed, relationships were
strengthened and we all grew closer to Jesus and to one another. I’m especially happy to report that in our congregation there has
been a renewed hope and energy for the Harvest since our Revival services.
We are expecting great days ahead! Thank you, Dr. Moore; you are a blessing.”

First Church of the Nazarene
Henderson, Texas
